Dr. Swain
Dr. Swain received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, TX where he graduated with honors with a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences. He attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX and completed his Family Medicine Residency at Martin Army Community Hospital at Ft. Benning,. GA.
Dr. Swain came to central Texas in 2008 while still part of the U.S. Army where he worked as Office in Charge of both the Bennett and Monroe Health clinics on Ft. Hood. He also trained new physicians at the Family Medicine Residency at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center.
In 2011, he left the U.S. Army to work as a Staff Physician at Freedom Urgent Care in Harker Heights. Within a few years, Modoc Family Medicine was opened to serve those here in Central Texas. In 2017, Dr. Swain became part of Wellstone Health Partners, where he currently practices in Killeen, TX.
Dr. Swain specialies in Family Medicine and is a BioTE@ Certified Practitioner for bio-identical hormone replacement for both men and women.
